Founder's story
Çağan Koyun: from experience to shared action.
Çağan Koyun founded Spark Connect and is a founding board member and co-chair of Mobility Alliance. His interest in mobility began with a car team during high school. That experience led him to think beyond the vehicle to the whole journey.
From school to the field
The car team was his first experience of approaching technology, teamwork and the practical realities of mobility together.
Founding Spark
He founded Spark in 2022. Starting with EV charging, the company expanded its focus to connecting mobility services and their digital infrastructure.
International dialogue
His individual Chatham House membership has informed his interest in international policy and dialogue across sectors. It is a personal membership.
Working with Michigan
Spark worked with student teams in the University of Michigan's 2026 Perot Jain TechLab Electrification startup cohort and was selected again for the 2027 cohort.
Connecting mobility services in one app revealed problems that no single company can solve alone. That insight led to Mobility Alliance: a place where organisations can bring their experience, investigate shared questions and define outcomes transparently.
